Just want to throw this out there – one of the BEST Hort jobs ever is Zoo Horticulture! Try gardening in the company of an African Elephant or Sumatran Tiger! This field of horticulture needs to be introduced to the world!
HI Danielle. Welcome to Eden Makers and the Garden World Report! You are correct. I’m fascinated by this area of horticulture and recently learned about a designer who creates the garden habitats for some of the most famous zoos in the world! He was not available for the Hot Hort Jobs show but I was inspired by him.
Do you have a private practice or are you employed by a zoo? Would love to feature you sometime on the Garden World Report. I will have followup shows regarding hort jobs. Please be in touch.
